Dropped in for last minute lunch. I had James Gluten Free Burger and my husband had the Double Cheese Burger and both were drop down delicious. Definitely come back again. Good service.

Delicious food - excellent value Stopped in for lunch. Really enjoyed the $12.50 James burger lunch special and hubby demolished all of his Caesar salad so obviously he enjoyed it! Food came out reasonably quickly. We'll look this place up next time we visit Bundy. A real gem!

Chef Curvan’s cooking will put your own mother to shame. Soul food like you’ve had nowhere else. Will be coming back soon!

Breakfast with free ATTITUDE !

Our first visit to James’s and was greeted with a warm welcome from the Asian lady manager (owner ?) and her chef (husband ?). Feeling good… Ordered the James’ Gourmet B/fast (2 free range eggs served your way (fried) , 2 pork sausages, bacon, tomato, spinach, baked beans and buttered toast) yum. My partner ordered Grilled Halloumi & mushroom on avo toast + added a pouched egg yum. Drinks were 2 cappuccinos in mugs. Now this was carefully ordered and repeated back to me (twice) and the coffee girl helped the manager (I assume new owner ?) work the magic with charging the extra poached egg to the grilled halloumi breakfast. Happy. Take our table #8 and go sit down on a nice deck quite comfortable. Coffee comes first great, that’s how we like it. Next the Grilled Halloumi (no poached egg ?) Next my James’ Gourmet B/fast (no eggs ?) OK WTF ? Ask waiter to check were are the eggs mine fried and my partner’s one poached. OK. 2 pouched eggs arrive on a saucer. I say OK I wanted fried and my partner wants one poached. Chef (owner ?) comes flying out the kitchen with attitude. Lady manager nowhere to be seen. He says the ‘James comes with 2 poached eggs and Halloumi does not have egg on it) OK so we try explain what we ordered, 2 fried and 1 poached. NO HE SAYS… 2 POACHED WITH JAMES NO EGG ON HALLOUMI. Getting angry, he says OK. I GIVE YOU ONE EGG FREE. F..k we paid for the egg. Anyway so eggs your way is CHEF’S way (poached) and you pay for a FREE egg but it comes with attitude. Breakfast was nice but I recommend you get a copy of your order in writing because the attitude SUCKS !....

One of the best restaurants in Bundaberg! This is an absolute favourite for my partner and I. You get the exact same quality of food every time you go there. The food tastes and looks amazing (The burgers are to die for! Especially the Lady Burger Special and the James Burger Special) and the service is #1, especially Lachy who is such an asset to the business! Thanks guys!

We popped in for coffee and the bacon and egg brioche bun this morning. Not very busy but somehow managed to give us a BLT instead, then tried again to get the bacon and egg brioche... came out with a kind of cheeseburger! We didn’t mind. We got to keep the BLT and downed the cheeseburger. Both were tasty 👌🏼
Still wondering what the bacon and egg brioche is like though. 😂
